How do you improve a quad biking mountain adventure? Add another mountain! That means more ATV time, more terrains, and more breathtaking mountain views. One thing we’re not short of in Iceland is mountains…so if you want more, then double-up with this fantastic off-road quad bike tour.
OFF-ROAD ATV ACTION
Our 2h tour takes you off the beaten track. From asphalt and gravel roads to mountain tracks, rocky paths to steep slopes, and through a river, you’ll get the thrill of quad biking on a range of terrains. And all surrounded by stunning scenery. Your destinations are two stunning mountain tops that you will reach by taking two completely different and incredible mountain trails that challenge you on the way to the peaks. Your reward? Stunning views across the whole capital area, the Reykjanes peninsula, Viðey Island, and even the Snæfellsjökull glacier if the weather conditions are perfect. Reykjavík´s house mountain Esja will be very close and you will have a view over the whole Bláfjöll and Hengill mountain range, where you can spot volcanic activity. It really is twice as nice.
QUAD BIKING IN ICELAND – SAFE, EASY AND EXCITING
Your day will begin with picking you up from a bus stop downtown if you have chosen pick-up. We are just 15 minutes away from the city center. On arriving at our basecamp we will suit you up and gear you for the weather. You will be provided with everything you need, please make sure to wear shoes according to the weather condition.
Most of our guests are beginners, so we know how to provide an experience that’s as safe as it is fun. Our expert guides will make sure you have all the safety instructions you need before you start the tour. The quad bikes are fully automatic and super easy to use – you just hit the throttle and go!

Important Information Hotel pickups are not included in the price of the tour. We do offer a pickup service, but you are also very welcome to make your own way to our Safari Quads Base Camp !

Ride off the beaten paths in the outback of Reykjavík and experience the panoramic view over the city and the bay area from the Reykjavik Peak & Úlfarsfell. A complete ATV / Quad experience. Twin Peaks, as the name indicates, is an extended version of the Reykjavik Peak with an extra mountain top added to the mix. A bit more technical, this is definitely a more complete ATV experience, combining gravel roads, mountain tracks, rocky paths and steep ascent. Take a ride in the scenic outback area and experience the “million dollar view” over Reykjavik. The adventure begins from our base camp where we start the ride on a asphalt road for a short while and then turn into a gravel road along beautiful lake Hafravatn before heading up a mountain trail to the top of Hafrafell. Once you stand there, you get to enjoy the great view over the whole Reykjavík area and the surrounding mountain range. After this first hour on the ATV, you will get more confident and we can head safely to Mountain Úlfarsfell where the view over Reykjavik, the bay area and Reykjanes Peninsula is even more stunning. On a clear day you will even be able to see Snæfellsjökull glacier, hundreds of kilometers away. Twin Peaks is an excellent choice for those who want more than just an introduction to the quads.
