At 3 hours, this ATV adventure takes you on an active tour of changing landscapes, river crossings, and mountain views, and see a natural hot spring on this amazing tour.

Reykjavik is a unique city because raw nature is so close. That means we can get you from your hotel or nearby bus stop -please see if your hotel is listed to a bus stop* to our quad biking base camp within 15 minutes. After safety and operating instructions, you’re ready to hit the trail.
CRAZY TRAILS, WILD VIEWS, AND ATV MOUNTAIN MADNESS
The tour starts with an adventurous ride in the backlands of Reykjavik through rivers and an old lava field all the way to the Hengill mountain range and Hellisheiðarvirkjun, the power plant for the capital area. You follow the trails into the mountain range to a valley called Instidalur. In good weather conditions, you can see all the way from the whole Hengill volcanic area to the south coast beach and Eyjafjallajökull glacier.

If the temperature is right, you can take a swim in the warm and relaxing river. In good weather conditions, you can see Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull, two of the biggest volcanos of Iceland, as well.

You’ll take your quad bike all the way – i.e. to the peak of Hengill mountain range. And if you thought the drive up was amazing, wait ‘til you see the views. The mountain offers something special: from the whole Hengill area to the Mýrdalsjökull glacier in the south.
