Fine Selection of the Southwest - 4 days riding
On this tour, our guests can experience the best day-stages from Eldhestar’s different shorter and longer tours in the South of Iceland. We start with a visit of Reykjadalur Valley from Tour 9 – Around the Volcano and relax our muscles in its hot river. The next day, we visit the Valley of the Horses – Maradalur – from Tour 13 – The Golden Highlights of the South. We ride through Thingvellir National Park – UNESCO Heritage Site from Tour 12 – Thingvellir & around the lake Thingvallavatn. On tha last day, we get to enjoy Tour 6 – The Beach Ride and ride on the beautiful volcanic beach near the fishing town Thorlákshöfn, continue through shallow water at the edge of the river delta and along wetlands and meadows towards the farmland in the Ölfus area.
5 days - 4 nights – 4 days on horseback – 75 km. Accommodation at Hotel Eldhestar and/or nearby hotel, full board (breakfast, lunchbox: sandwich & cookies, coffee/tea & home baked cake, 3-course dinner). Bring swimsuit and towel.
