About

The Geothermal Exhibition and Mega Zipline Iceland Combo Tour is a nice experience for the whole family combining knowledge and thrilling adventure in one combo.   The tour starts with a visit to Geothermal Exhibition driving east from Reykjavik.  At the geothermal exhibition, you get to discover how Iceland uses geothermal power and renewable energy in a fun and interesting way. You can look inside the plant's turbine halls, check out hands-on and informative displays, and find out about our work with Carbfix, a project that helps store CO2. You'll see how we make electricity for the country and provide hot water for the area around the capital.

You then continue heading east to the town of Hveragerði and about 4 minutes after driving through the town, you will find Mega Zipline Iceland.  Mega Zipline Iceland is a thrilling zipline adventure featuring Iceland's longest ziplines. It offers breathtaking views of the country's landscapes, providing an adrenaline-filled experience for both thrill-seekers and nature lovers.  You are booked for the conventional ride (seated) but it is always possible to upgrade to Superman ride (lying) on site, as long as there is availability.

Your booking at the Mega Zipline is  two hours after the Geothermal Exhibition so if your booking is at 11 am at the Exhibition then your booking at The Mega Zipline will be at 13.00 (1 pm). The drive between the two is only 10 - 15 minutes So there is no need to rush and you actually should have time to grab a sandwich or a cup of coffee between the two trips.
