If you’re lucky enough to catch more, you’re welcome to take the rest home.
Most common catch in the area is Catfish, Cod, Haddock, Mackerel and Pollack. We will BBQ your catch on board and you can of course take the rest with you home!

Arrive at Hlésgata floating pier at least 15 min. before departure to meet the crew and board the boat, Jóhanna. The tour is operated by the Viggson brothers, Jakob and Vigfús, that come from a small fishing village in East Iceland. They're a both experienced fishermen and are from a long line of sailors and boat builders.
On board you will be provided with all the necessary equipment and the crew will teach you all the best techniques. The most common catch is Catfish, Cod, Haddock, Mackerel and Pollack - you can of course keep what you catch.
Back at the harbour, it's time to get ready to taste our catch - it will probably be the freshest fish you will ever eat, complimented with some delicious potatoes and sauce; Icelandic style. Want to take the rest with you home? Have the crew filet it for you!
