The Golden Circle Camper´Break is a designed self-drive vacation package with a pre-planned itinerary, selected attractions, and campsite overnight fees to offer you the best campervan experience in Iceland this winter! Discover beautiful destinations, this trip take you through the Golden Circle, Iceland´s most popular loop route covering around 300 km. You will participate in activities such as a FlyOver Iceland ride in Reykjavík, a rye bread tour where the geothermal heat cooks the dough in the ground, and an entrance to the Laugarvatn spa.
In our itinerary description we included the approximate time spent at each location, including the driving time from the previous site.
This vacation package is designed for those who want to travel independently and/or with more privacy. It is a perfect match for first-time travelers in Iceland or those who prefer to explore Iceland with friends or family.

CampEasy - Reykjanes Peninsula – Hveragerdi
Distance: 179 km, 13 stops
Our included shuttle service will pick you up from the airport or your stay in Keflavik and bring you to our CampEasy office, located in Selvík 5 Reykjanesbær. Here, we will set up your journey itinerary, introduce you to the camper and its facilities and personalize the Easy Guide tablet. While waiting for all of that or in case of the early morning – we have hot coffee drinks!
At the beginning of your trip you will see the top attractions of Reykjanes Peninsula. First of them is Bridge Between Continents at Sandvík - a rift between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. Another more exciting place is Gunnuhver Hot Spring - Geothermal areas will indeed introduce you to Iceland! If you like hiking the Geldingardalur Volcano is a perfect idea. After hiking, you may relax in the world-famous geothermal spa Blue Lagoon (admission is not included in the price due to unknown arrival time). After an eventful day, you reach your campsite in Hveragerdi and get some rest to start another adventure.

Golden Circle and Waterfalls
Distance: 296 km, 10 stops
For the second day of your trip, we prepared many attractions. Your itinerary takes you on the Golden Circle, which the most frequently chosen route. Without reason, Golden Circle should be on your bucket list to see in Iceland. Golden Circle has hidden many breathtaking places. You will see three wonderful waterfalls (Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, and Skógafoss) and a huge volcano crater lake, Kerið, during this day. In Laugarvatn at 11:45 AM you will have a chance to taste and see how the Icelandic Rye bread is prepared (Rye Bread Tour - optional activity that we can include in your tour if you select it in the booking). Next, you can have a nice bath in the Laugarvatn Fontana pool at 1:00 PM to take some rest in the hot geothermal water (optional activity that we can include in your tour if you select it in the booking). We recommend you visit Friðheimar Restaurant and Farm, famous for its horse breeding and horse show activities, and its tomato farm entirely run with geothermal energy using biological pest controls. The entrance to the farm is free, however, if you choose to taste the restaurant´s meals and beverages, you can do so at your own expense, it is not included in the tour price. For the night, you will stay at Skógar. Depending on you can visit the nearby waterfall - Skógarfoss in the evening or morning the next day.

Skógar - Vik - Reykjavík
Distance: 250 km, 5 stops
Today, you visit Dyrhólaey, Reynisfjara and Solheimajokull. The last one is a glacier and you can hike on it, during the optional activity: Glacier Hike on Sólheimajökull, that we can include in your tour if you select it in the booking. If you choose to do this, be at the meeting point before 10:00 AM to agree with the guide that you are well prepared for the expedition. In Reykjavik, you can try another attraction FlyOver Iceland (5:15 PM) which is only our recommendation, we will not include this in the tour. Today is your last night in Iceland; get the most out of it!

Skógar - Reykjavik – CampEasy
Distance: 62 km, 5 stops
Depending on your departure flight, you might be able to visit the capital and see landmarks such as the Perlan, Sun Voyager, Hallgrímskirkja Church, and Harpa, the famous concert hall in Reykjavík. The entrance to the church is free, however, to go up to the tower, there is a small admission fee which is not included in the tour price. Should you have time on your departure day, we recommend visiting the Perlan Museum, where you learn interesting facts about Icelandic glaciers, birds, and nature. The Perlan features, among, others, are a Northern Lights Planetarium show and 100 meters The Ice Cave. If you choose to come here and join one of the Perlan-activities, you will have to arrange the admission yourself, as this is not going to be included in the tour price, it is only our recommendation.
