The tour will take you around the best geothermal pool & hot springs, relax within the healing waters of Iceland and discover its secretes for your self. You also participate in activities like horse riding on Icelandic strong and beautiful horses. You explore The Vatnshellir an 8000-year-old lava cave located 32 meters under the ground and Víðgelmir – the largest lava cave in Iceland; watch the Aurora Show and more.

  • Cancelation Protection - There is no charge if you cancel your reservation within 24 hours before pick up. If you do not cancel within 24 hours before pick up and do not show up, we will charge 30% of the total amount from your credit card.
  • Free Shuttle - We offer our customers arriving at the International Airport Keflavik (KEF) a free shuttle to our office at Selvík 5 during opening hours

What do I need to bring?

  1. Pack sensibly. There is not a lot of space for luggage in the camper.
  2. It’s better to have soft bags rather than hard case bags.
  3. Bring warm clothes with you. We never know what the weather is going to be like.
  4. Thick socks and boots. Good boots.

  6. Bring a valid credit card and driver’s license.
  7. Remember to bring a good mood and a happy smile!

Upon picking up the vehicle at our office, the driver participant(s) must show a valid international driving license, valid for the vehicle and valid for a minimum of 12 months at the time of pick-up of the car for the tour. We offer a free pick-up shuttle service from Keflavík International Airport or the previously selected hotel in the Keflavík area (12 hotels are selectable) between 6:30 am and 6 pm. At the end of your tour, we also offer a free drop-off shuttle service to Keflavík International Airport or your chosen hotel within the Keflavík area (12 hotels are selectable).

Itinerary

Day 1: Reykjanesbær

CampEasy - Reykjanes  Peninsula - Hveragerdi

Distance: 154 km 13 stops

Welcome to Iceland! Our included shuttle service will pick you up from the airport or your stay in Keflavik and bring you to our CampEasy office, located in Selvík 5 Reykjanesbær. Here, we will set up your journey itinerary, introduce you to the camper and its facilities and personalize the Easy Guide tablet. While waiting for all of that or in case of the early morning – we have hot coffee drinks to cheer you up!

After having collected your campervan, you start your journey in Iceland! Should your arrival flight allows it, you might be able to see landmarks such as the  Gigvatnsvatn, Gunnuhver Hot Spring, or the Bridge Between Continents.

Day 2: Golden Circle and its wonders

Hveragerdi - Golden Circle - Þingvellir

Distance: 209 km 8 stops

Your itinerary takes you to Gullfoss, Geysir, where you encounter some of the unique Icelandic sites in the country. But before that, you can make friends with Icelandic horses at Hveragerði if you like (this is an optional activity you can select to be added to your tour when making the booking), and you might even like to taste a delicious tomato soup made from fresh Icelandic tomatoes at Friðheimar Restaurant & Farm, famous for its horse breeding and horse show activities, its tomato farm entirely run with geothermal energy using biological pest controls (entrance to the farm is free of admission, however, food and beverages are to be paid at the location and are not included in the tour price). The next optionally included activity we planned for your second day, is a long and relaxing soak in the geothermal waters of the Secret Lagoon, the oldest swimming pool in Iceland, which was built in 1891.

Day 3: Borgarfjordur fjord and its waterfalls

Þingvellir - Borgarfjordur - Búdardalur

Distance: 243 km 9 stops

Today, you complete the famous Golden Circle visit with Thingvellir National Park and Oxará.  As an optional activity, you can choose in your booking to join the tour to Vidgelmir Cave, an 1100 years old lava formation located on a 200m2 lava field right under Hallmundarhraun.  Next, you see two breathtaking waterfalls in the Borgarfjordur area, Hraunfossar and Barnafoss, and visit Reykholt, one of the most important historical sites in Iceland. Your last stop can be Deildartunguhver, Europe's largest hot spring located in Reykjadalur or the "valley of smoke"; or you can finish the day by spending some time in the natural geothermal bath and spa, Krauma; where the admission can be included in the tour price if you select this optional activity in your booking.

Day 4: Snæfellsnes Peninsula

Búdardalur -South Snæfellsnes - Akranes

Distance: 374 km km 14 stops

Start the day by visiting the wonders of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, which has so much to offer you! On the road, you see the stunning Sugandisey Cliff at Stykkishólmur and Saxhóll, an extinct volcanic crater. The iconic mountain Kirkjufell and the nearby waterfall are the most recognized landmark of West Iceland. Next, you can optionally explore the Vatnshellir Cave formed around 8,000 years ago; if you select this activity to be added to your tour when making the booking.

Day 5: Reykjavik - Capital City

Akranes - Reykjavik area - Reykjavik campsite

Distance: 89 km 8 stops

Today, as per our plan, you start by visiting the capital of Iceland, Reykjavík where we can include admission to the Perlan Museum Aurora show (as an optional activity of the tour and by indicating that in your booking), Harpa, the Music & Conference Hall, Hallgrímskirkja Church, and the famous Sun Voyager sculpture right by the seashore. You then would visit an original ice bar, Magic Ice Reykjavík (optional activity to be selected in the booking if you like) where you seat on blocks of ice! In the evening, you can dip in the warm waters of the Sky Lagoon (optionally included activity - select in the booking to be included if you choose to come here).

Day 6: Departure

Reykjavik - Blue Lagoon - CampEasy

Distance: 87 km 3 stops

Should you have time on your departure day, we recommend visiting FlyOver Iceland, where you can see Icelandic landmarks from bird view. Don´t miss out on the famous Icelandic geothermal spa, the Blue Lagoon! The iconic milky-blue water site is a must-see place in Iceland!
